New City Centre Bus Stops from Sunday 2nd November 2008

Following the completion of the bridge strengthening works outside the Victoria Centre, the bus stops on Lower Parliament Street will be re-opened to our services from Sunday 2nd November 2008.

During the closure of these stops, we have found that reliability has improved for services running along Lower Parliament Street and we are keen to retain these higher levels of reliability when the bus stops come back in to use. Reliability has been helped by reducing the number of buses stopping within such a close space, particularly at bus stop W3, outside Bon Marché, where buses often had to wait in the main carriageway for the stop to become clear.

We have therefore worked very closely with Nottingham City Council and other bus operators to review our bus stopping arrangements in the Victoria Centre area and the following permanent bus stop changes will commence from 06:00 on Sunday 2nd November 2008.

The list and map below shows only those services where bus stops change; if your service is not listed then your bus stop remains unchanged.
