Minor Timetable Change to Improve Student Bus Times

Better bus arrival times for students at NTU Brackenhurst College and The Minster School will start after half-term, thanks to a minor timetable change introduced by Nottingham City Transport.

Following feedback from parents, students and The Minster School, NCT will be extending the morning bus service 26 beyond Burton Joyce, through Lowdham and Thurgarton to NTU Brackenhurst College and The Minster School, from Monday 1 June 2009, to give students more time to get to their studies at the start of the day.

The extended journey will be operated by NCT as service 26C, running to the following timetable:

07:45 Nottingham Queen Street&nbsp

08:03 Carlton, Tesco

08:05 Carlton-le-Willows School

08:12 Burton Joyce, Post Office

08:19 Lowdham, War Memorial

08:26 NTU, Brackenhurst Campus

08:30 Southwell Minster School

Commenting on the change, Nicola Tidy NCT’s Marketing and Communications Director said, “NCT are pleased to be able to accommodate the requests of the students and parents in improving the morning arrival time of the bus for both NTU and The Minster School. Customer feedback is essential for us to continue adapting our network and timetables to meet customer needs and expectations”.

A copy of the new timetable is available on the NCT website at www.nctx.co.uk or by calling the NCT Travel Centre on 0115 950 60 70.
