Following a successful trial at Easter, Nottingham City Transport will be slashing group travel prices for next week’s Half Term by offering passengers two very special deals, to reduce the price of family travel during the school holidays.
NCT will be repeating the very successful half-price GroupRider ticket promotion, with the price slashed from £6 to only £3.
A Group Rider ticket gives unlimited travel on all NCT bus and NET tram services inside Greater Nottingham for a family / group of up to 5 people (minimum 1 adult, maximum 2 adults), which is excellent value from only 60 pence per person for a whole day of unlimited travel in the City!
The Group Network Rider ticket, which also covers NCT’s South Notts and Pathfinder buses to Loughborough and Southwell, will also be reduced by half from £10 to only £5.
Both tickets are only available at half price from the NCT bus driver on the day of travel, simply by requesting a Group Rider or Network Group Rider ticket.
The special prices run throughout the school holidays from Saturday 23rd May to Sunday 31st May 2009 inclusive.
Commenting on the promotion, Anthony Carver-Smith NCT Brands Manager said, “With the success of the half price promotion at Easter, we know families will really appreciate that NCT has decided to reduce prices again for the forthcoming school holidays, to help them get around Nottingham at a really good value price. With free events like City Pulse taking place in the City Centre and the family favourites open like Wollaton Park, the Castle and Green’s Windmill, Nottingham has lots to offer to keep the kids busy this half term. ”
