NCT Mobile Travel Centre Returns with New Year Offer

Following a successful launch last autumn, Nottingham City Transport’s Mobile Travel Centre returns to local town centres from today (5 January 2010), with an exclusive Spring travel offer for customers!

Arnold, Beeston, Bulwell and West Bridgford Town Centres are all back on the timetable, with a new destination at Victoria Parkway introduced in Netherfield to give greater coverage for residents in the east of the city. A new location at Clifton – inside the Library – will also improve access to customers as we move to a more central location.

The Mobile Travel Centre will operate to the following timetable until late April, where customers can top up their Easyrider Citycard, ask a question about their bus service, get general travel advice and take advantage of an exclusive Mobile Travel Centre travel offer.

• Arnold Town Centre, near Arnold Market, 9.30am – 4.00pm
  Fridays: 15th January, 29th January, 12th February, 26th February, 12th March, 26th March, 9th April, 23rd April
• Beeston Town Centre, near Beeston Square, 9.30am – 4.00pm
  Fridays: 8th January, 22nd January, 5th February, 19th February, 5th March, 19th March, 16th April
• Bulwell Town Centre, near Bulwell Market, 9.30am – 4.00pm
  Tuesdays: 5th January, 19th January, 2nd February, 16th February, 2nd March, 16th March, 30th March, 13th April, 27th April
• Clifton Library (inside), 10.30am – 4.00pm
  Thursdays: 14th January, 28th January, 11th February, 25th February, 11th March, 25th March, 8th April, 22nd April
• Netherfield, Victoria Retail Park, 9.30am – 4.00pm
  Tuesdays: 12th January, 26th January, 9th February, 23rd February, 9th March, 23rd March, 6th April, 20th April
• South Nottingham College, West Bridgford Campus, 8.30am – 9.30am
  Thursdays (term-time): Every Thursday 7th January to 29th April inclusive
• West Bridgford Library (inside) 10.30am – 4.00pm
  Thursdays: 7th January, 21st January, 4th February, 18th February, 4th March, 18th March, 1st April, 15th April

To welcome back the Mobile Travel Centre, customers can take advantage of an exclusive Spring Easyrider Citycard Anytime offer, only on board the bus. Until the end of April, 5 days unlimited NCT bus travel will be available for just £10, the equivalent of only £2 per day, saving £1 a day against the cost of buying an all day ticket from the bus driver. As well as offering great value bus travel, an Easyrider Citycard can also be used to access hundreds of exclusive discounts at local retailers across the City, as well as being a leisure and library card too.
