Late Night Buses for New Year’s Eve Revellers

Revellers celebrating New Year’s Eve in Nottingham City Centre will be able to avoid the lengthy queues for taxis to get home this year by hopping on an NCT late night bus for just £2.
Nottingham City Transport will be running 8 late night bus routes on New Year’s Eve, departing the City Centre hourly at 23:15, 00:15, 01:15, 02:15 and 03:15.
The 8 routes are:

  • N6 to West Bridgford, Wilford Hill and Compton Acres
  • N27 to Sneinton Dale, Carlton, Westdale Lane and Mapperley
  • N28 to Ilkeston Road, Beechdale, Bilborough, Wollaton and Bramcote
  • N36 to Derby Road, Beeston and Chilwell
  • N48 to Meadows, Clifton Estate and Ruddington
  • N58 to Sherwood, Arnold, Killisick and Plains Estate
  • N77 to Alfreton Road, Aspley, Strelley, Cinderhill, Snape Wood and Bulwell
  • N89 to Hucknall Road, Edwards Lane, Bestwood Park and Rise Park

Buses will leave from their usual City Centre terminal points and use all normal stops along the route. The last buses on daytime services will be at approximately 20:00.
David Astill, NCT Commercial Manager commented, “Our late Go2 Night bus network has gone from strength to strength since we launched it over 2 years ago. We have often been asked by customers and pub and club owners to run later buses on New Year’s Eve and we are sure that people will take advantage of our excellent £2 fare to get home safely after a good night celebrating in the City Centre”.
Further information is available, including a route map of services, on our website, by calling 0115 950 60 70 or in the 2009 Holiday Period bus services leaflet.
