Description:
A large open plan hostelry, the building used to be a department store before its conversion to a pub. A single bar runs down one side and a raised area opposite acts as a stage for the various live bands that play here. Live music is on every night from Wednesday to Saturday. The pub is closed to the public on a Sunday night when a comedy evening is held, and there is a door charge if you wish to go in. It can get very busy at the weekends as it is part of the city centre pub circuit, and you will find doormen in attendance – but never any trouble there! An extensive menu is available every day until 8pm with something available for all tastes.
