Description:
A modern pub converted from an old bakery building. The fronts of the ovens can still be seen in one of the back rooms. This room also houses the ‘brewery graveyard’ that contains memorabilia from closed breweries, including a number of items from the recently lost Hardy’s and Hanson’s brewery of Kimberley. There is one spacious bar area and two other seating areas. One wall is covered with framed CAMRA & SIBA beer awards. A full menu is available which is home cooked on the premises; one dish being the Caribbean Chicken that is the chef’s signature dish from a secret family recipe. The pub hosts a quiz night on a Wednesday, a brewery night on the last Tuesday of every month and live music on the second and last Tuesday of each month.
