Description:
This is a large open-plan community pub on the main road set in pleasant, leafy grounds. It was formerly a hotel and is a relatively recent addition to the Sherwood pub scene. The one large room wraps around the bar, with distinctly separate drinking areas. Big screen TVs show sports, but not intrusively, and there is live music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and a quiz night on Tuesdays. Good value traditional pub food is served daily until 9pm (6.30pm Sunday).
