Description:
A former Shipstone’s pub The Green Dragon is situated just off the town centre. It is a fine example of a traditional pub; whilst an open plan design, the pub has been divided, so a separate lounge and public bar area still exists. The lounge has a raised part that acts as a comfortable eating area, although there is a separate dining room/ function room as well. Bar snacks and meals are available from 12-3pm. Breakfasts are also sold from 10am-12 in the morning. A large screen TV is also to be found in the lounge area. The public bar area houses a pool table and two dart boards. Outside at the front is a tarmac surfaced area with seating, and at the side a smoking shelter has been erected. Monday night is darts league; pool knockout Tuesday, Wednesday is quiz night, Thursday karaoke and there is live music on Saturday night.
