Description:
The Lady Bay started life as a private house and only became a pub in the last 50 years. Since then it has been modernised and a complete refurbishment took place in July 2009 that transformed this attractive former Hardy’s and Hanson’s estate pub into a Greene King outlet offering a wide choice of cask ales. It is a very popular pub with locals and with disabled visitors – the Skylarks holiday camp is less than a mile away. The comfortable lounge bar area is on a split-level and provides a number of discreet eating and drinking areas (food is served all day). The lounge offers a large screen sky TV – which is ‘hidden’ when not in use. The front area consists of a sizable patio and well-maintained garden complete with a smoking shelter that blends into the garden due to the trailing ivy that covers it. The tastefully decorated bar houses the pool table and darts board. A cash machine is located in the lounge.
