Description:
Formerly a Hardy’s and Hanson’s house, this sixties built pub has a large L-shaped comfortable lounge with a number of discreet eating and drinking areas. There is a separate public bar with two pool tables and giant Sky TV screen. At the rear, a large fenced garden with children’s play area can be found. The pub offers food from a main menu along with a specials board; this is available from 11am-8pm Monday to Wednesday and 11am-9pm Thursday to Saturday. Occasional beer festivals are held, and in the summer a Roundheads and Cavaliers event featuring the British Armour Plate society.
