Description:
Nottingham CAMRA Pub of the Year 2009, this is a popular two-room pub tucked away on one of the routes out of the city. The public bar has a rare thing, these days, for Nottingham city centre - a dartboard - and you can also play dominoes, bar billiards or table skittles. In the lounge you will find a lot of playing cards stuck to the ceiling, this are down to the resident magician doing his “party trick”. The walls of both bars are covered with framed front pages of local newspapers featuring various local and national headlines concerning both news and sporting events stretching back over many years. In the bar, look out for the bricks with a variety of brewery names written on them. Cobs, sandwiches and a home made hot stew are always available.
