Description:
Known locally as the “Top House” as it is the highest up in the village, a notable feature is the ‘crowned’ chimney pots; they are also etched into the glass of the front windows. This is a single bar establishment, but has two separate seating areas at the front and also a restaurant at the back. The pub offers a discount to CAMRA members, who should ask for details. A large selection of bottled beers from around the world is also available. The walls are adorned with brewery mirrors and framed brewery related items; they also have framed beer mats above the bar. Large beer barrels have been made into tables. Food is served at lunchtime Tuesdays to Saturdays, and early evening between Wednesday and Saturday. Monday night plays host to a poker session.
