Description:
This is a pleasant two bar pub at the edge of the village. It has a small cosy public bar on the right hand side of the pub with a wooden floor and a large settle along the wall. On the left a long lounge, carpeted throughout the back portion, is slightly raised at one end. An interesting assortment of framed prints can be found on the walls. There is a small, seated area at the front of the pub and also a much larger secluded area at the back for those who wish to “take the air”. Various entertainment is provided; there is karaoke on Wednesdays, a disco on Fridays, and live acoustic bands on Saturdays. Food is served all week, with main meals from a large menu that includes a vegetarian selection. There are also sandwiches and hot and cold baguettes. Tuesday night is steak night.
