Description:
This large roadhouse, beautifully adorned with hanging baskets in summer, was originally a Home Brewery pub, built in the fifties. It is now open plan but with many discrete drinking areas surrounding the bar. It is pleasantly carpeted and has dark painted beams and an eclectic selection of chairs. There is a large fireplace where a wood fire burns in the colder months. It is popular with diners, and fresh home cooked food from the extensive menu is served all day until 10pm (8pm Sunday) and some good special value meal deals are available before 5pm.
